Our story

An idea born in 2023

Rotation Horlogère was born online in 2023, with a simple idea: to offer watch lovers storage, winding and protection solutions offering a true balance between quality, functionality and price.

At that time, the market seemed to us to be divided between entry-level accessories with sometimes imprecise characteristics and established brands whose prices could become difficult to justify in view of the product offered. A significant part of the price sometimes seemed linked to the name, the positioning or the distribution network rather than just the quality of the watch winder, the box or the safe.

Our goal has never been to offer the cheapest products. We wanted to build a fairer alternative: select the truly useful characteristics, work on the finishes and support the customer, while maintaining a price consistent with the value of the product.

Accessible watch winders, without sacrificing the essentials

Rotation Horlogère first developed around watch winders for automatic watches and watch boxes. We were looking for models capable of meeting concrete needs: keeping a watch ready to wear, adapting the number of revolutions and the direction of rotation to the caliber, remaining sufficiently discreet in a bedroom or office and integrating naturally into an interior.

This approach has led us to offer several levels of finish and capacity, from the individual watch winder to the cabinet for several dozen watches. A customer looking for a simple solution for their first automatic watch should not be directed towards the same product as a collector with several calibers or large complications.

The right choice is therefore not necessarily the most expensive model. It is the one that really corresponds to the watch, the collection and the daily use of its owner.

From storage to protection of large collections

Our customers' demands have gradually gone beyond the simple watch winder. Some were looking for greater capacity, special finishes or a solution capable of combining automatic winding, storage and physical protection.

We have therefore developed a range of safes with integrated watch winders, then customizable projects: choice of leather or exterior finish, interior color, number of watch winders, drawers, lighting, dimensions and level of security.

It is in this universe that the gap between the price of the product and the price of the brand can be the greatest. Some safes from international houses exceed €40,000 with first-level security certification. Rotation Horlogère can, depending on the project, offer configurations incorporating certification EN 1143-1 Grade III optional, around €20,000 depending on the dimensions, finishes and equipment selected.

These configurations are not interchangeable and should always be compared based on their certification, capacity, weight, watch winders and level of customization. They nevertheless illustrate our philosophy: devote the budget to safety, materials, functionality and support rather than just the prestige of a name.

A committed international selection

Rotation Horlogère is a French brand, but we do not claim to manufacture our entire catalog in France. Depending on the collections, our partners and manufacturers are located in France, Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Japan or China.

We prefer to be transparent about this organization. Our work consists of selecting products and workshops according to their skills, checking the characteristics announced, developing certain configurations and supporting each customer before and after their order.

For personalized creations, we create the link between the collector and the workshop: study of demand, choice of materials, validation of dimensions, configuration of watch winders, organization of manufacturing and preparation of delivery.

A direct relationship with collectors

Since the first orders, discussions with our customers have shaped Rotation Horlogère. Their questions about TPD settings, sound level, dimensions, delivery or customization allowed us to improve our selection and develop new solutions.

This relationship continues after the order. When a difficulty arises, our customer service based in France can carry out an initial remote diagnosis, transmit instructions, send a replacement part or organize an intervention adapted to the situation.

Rotation Horlogère today supports more than 1,000 customers in France and internationally, from the first individual watch winder to safes designed for high-value collections.

A French house supported by RH GROUP

Since 2025, Rotation Horlogère has been operated by RH GROUP, a French company registered in the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 940 697 816.

The structure has evolved, but the founding ambition remains the same: to offer a credible alternative to the big houses, with products chosen for their real usefulness, more fairly positioned prices and a contact person available when a collector needs advice.
