Full-Grain Cowhide Leather
The Capri™ is made from full-grain cowhide leather, which is the top layer of the hide, the most noble and densest in fibers. It is the most resistant and durable quality of leather on the market. This leather is then treated using the Crazy Horse process: an application of natural wax and oil that impregnates the surface, gives it its characteristic vintage appearance, and makes it naturally water and stain resistant.
A Patina That Tells a Story
Unlike industrially treated leathers, which fix the appearance of the material, full-grain cowhide leather evolves over time. Every fold, every rub, every manipulation leaves a subtle mark that fades or blends into the overall patina. A light finger press on a scratch is often enough to lessen it — the wax on the surface redistributes, revealing the nuances of color specific to this living leather.
